Fixed lock tabs are standard on all folding gates, allowing you to use your lock of choice.  Tabs can be welded to the outside of the gate, the inside, or both sides.

Hooklock Option (Built-in Lock)

 A popular option is the addition of a built-in, double cylinder Hooklock.  This lock can be opened using a key from either the outside or the inside, regardless which side it was locked from.  If multiple gates are used in the same installation, you may order Hooklocks keyed alike.  For added convenience, the lock cylinders can usually be re-keyed to match the storefront door locks eliminating the need for multiple keys.

 Optional Locks & Lock Rings           

If you are looking for a more secure padlock, consider the optional “hockey-puck” style lock.  These heavy-duty, bullet proof locks cannot be cut off with bolt cutters and provide an extra measure of security when the use of a padlock is preferred. 

With the use of the “hockey-puck” style lock, an optional lock ring can be added to prevent lock tampering.   “Hockey Puck” locks are available with or without a lock ring and can be keyed alike if multiple locks are required for an installation.

Folding Lock-Guard Box                 

For installations requiring fire-egress in case of an after-hours lock in, a Folding Lock Guard Box can be added to the Hooklock installation.  This allows the interior keyed cylinder to be replaced with a thumb-turn cylinder which can be operated by hand without the use of a key.  When the box is folded up and in-use, the thumb-turn cylinder can only be reached from the inside of the gate.  The box prevents someone on the outside from reaching through the gate and turning the lock while allowing someone on the inside to unlock the folding security gate without the use of a key.

When not in use, the Lock Guard Box folds down and collapses flat against the gate for storage.
